Pink Floyd-esque

Jonathan first heard the album “Dark Side of the Moon” in 2005, on vinyl, on a really good sound system. He was totally blown away. The songs, the arrangements and mostly, the way David Gilmour sang, touched him on a deep level. Shortly after, he heard “Comfortably Numb” and that was it. The sweeping, cinematic, “triumph over adversity” feel of that song has gone on to inform many of Jonathan’s original songs.

Upon hearing, “hey, you write like Roger Waters” by San Diego Producer/Studio Owner Allen Sanders in 2018, he has since written many songs in the ethereal, dense and harmonically beautiful style of Pink Floyd. And he does his best to sound like David Gilmour!
