“The Nightbird”, Jonathan Wuebben’s pop Magnum Opus, is the culmination of 15 years of songwriting by the artist. Drawing on his musical influences, Brian Wilson and the Beach Boys and David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, in addition to his other pop influences (Beck, Weezer & Deathcab for Cutie), Jon has created a new Southern California pop sound with “The Nightbird”.

With half the album up-tempo pop songs and the other half sensitive, piano based ballads, there is something for everyone. With 20 songs, “The Nightbird” is his first double album.

Rich in melody and deep in harmonic invention, each song has been carefully and meticulously crafted, leaning on the talents of some of the best session musicians and Producers (Pat Pickslay, Doug Grean & Jeff McCullough) in Southern California. RELEASED MAY 18, 2024!
